„Deep Within” is intended to be a narrative film that explores the process of self-discovery. Reality is intertwined with the inner world, enticing and challenging the protagonist to reveal her deepest secrets. The upcoming project is a visually sophisticated narrative with symbolic elements that emphasize a deeper connection with oneself, self-acceptance, forgiveness, and love.
Nawrot’s previous film, 'UMBRA,’ won over 45 international film awards, including those for best director and best original concept. She also received recognition from experts in the fields of psychiatry and psychology. Its therapeutic use has been confirmed by psychotherapists. The author’s participation in numerous scientific conferences and her interactions with the audience resulted in the creation of a new project, „Deep Within,” wherein the artist delves deeper into the issues previously raised. The script took more than 7 years to make. The author learned about psychology and talked to many people about their experiences. Therefore, all the images used in the inner world are a record of real people’s experiences. The visual layer of the film was preceded by years of research, which was reflected in the artist’s exhibition, ROMANTICISM. SELF-RECLAIMING. Its theme was the emergence of a woman’s emotional complexes in the context of the archetypes hidden behind them.
